Gay party amsterdam
Amsterdam’s queer scene rivals that of the greats; up there with Berlin, Madrid, Brighton and more. And we’re not just talking about Reguliersdwarsstraat (Amsterdam’s celebrated Gay Street) – the LGBTQ+ party scene here stretches across the city.
From the city’s famous first gay club Cafe ‘t Mandje to tiny queenly bars with karaoke, Amsterdam has it all. Just don’t be surprised to see some open-minded straight people frequent these joints – these are some of the leading clubs in a city famous for its nightlife, after all. Everyone is welcome. So whatever your vibe, here are the optimal gay bars and clubs in Amsterdam.

ABOUT DAMAGE PARTY
DANCE | CRUISE | PLAY
Welcome to Damage Party—where the worlds of dance and fetish collide in an electrifying fusion of music, freedom, and exploration. Since its inception in as the main event of Amsterdam Leatherpride, Damage has grown into a powerhouse of steady house beats, international DJs, and a thriving, inclusive community.
Founded by Tony, Nelson, Jeroen (Mister B), and Michael (Eagle Amsterdam), the mission was simple: to create a fetish party open to all—a vacuum where everyone, from seasoned players to first-time explorers, can dance, cruise, and play in a judgment-free atmosphere. Today, Tony leads the organization, while Jeroen is the mastermind behind its bold, post-apocalyptic aesthetic.
