Our favourite LGBTQ+ friendly hotels in the Lakes

All hotels should be equally hospitable places, for all guests. But proclaiming an LGBTQIA+ welcome on their sleeve ensures you’ll feel easy and welcomed beyond the shadow of a hesitation, and that’s really vital for kicking off any holiday in a relaxing way! Below we’ve collated a list of some of our favourite self-proclaimed LGBTQ+-friendly hotels across the Lake District.

Cranleigh Boutique

Look no further than Bowness-on-Windermere’s Cranleigh Boutique for a special occasion sprinkled with glam. Lake District Autumn Camp near Keswick

Please message that the outing of this event has been changed by one week, to August 30th to September 1st.

On the edge of the Whinlatter Forest, this well appointed site accepts tents, camper vans and caravans. It has camping pods, a shepherd’s hut and 3 self catering holiday cottages.  Dogs are welcome. There is also plenty of B&B in proximity. As this is the Lake District, early accommodation booking is vital to avoid disappointment.

There's a nice pub about 15 minutes walk and which we can devour at on some nights, or roast at the campsite and try and eat together there some of the nights.
