The court heard shortly after the defendant provided his username for messenger app Kik and the pair resumed their conversation. Paul Abrahams, prosecuting, said that 'M' then told the defendant that he was an underage schoolboy.
He said: "The defendant was told at the start of the Kik conversation that he was only 14 years of age. However, this did not deter the defendant and despite this he sent a picture of a man performing oral sex. He then made some sexual comments about what he wanted to do."
